About Us
Prime Renovation was formed by Alex Ellvers and David Norris in 2007 and since then has built up an enviable client list in South-West London.
Alex and David pride themselves on the high quality of the work that their company carries out and personally oversee all projects to ensure this continues. They have recruited a highly skilled team with the capability of carrying out all aspects of a project; from structural building work and fit outs through to decorating and garden design.
In 2010 Prime Renovation became a member of the Federation of Master Builders.
A bit more about Alex and David
Alex Ellvers - Alex studied yacht design at Southampton University, gaving him a taste for precision finishing. He then worked as a yacht skipper around the Mediterranean, and during this time refurbished a large yacht. After three years on the high seas Alex moved to London and started a plumbing company called Prime Plumbing. When David moved to London the two formed Prime Renovation.
David Norris - David completed a degree in structural engineering at Edinburgh University. While looking for engineering jobs he worked with several builders in Edinburgh, France and London, learning to renovate domestic properties and finding that he enjoyed this line of work and wanted to continue. David joined forces with Alex, a good friend from school, to form Prime Renovation, and in early 2012 moved to Ilkley to start a family and the Yorkshire arm of Prime Renovation
